Every year, Highlands United Church presents a display of over 200 Nativity sets complemented by music, craft- and bake -sales, costumes, Chili Cafe and more family fun.  This year the Pastime Consort  provided an hour of seasonal music.

5 members of The Pastime Consort played Leonie Jenkins’ Shoreline Suite for the BC Recorder Society Spring Showcase on May 10th at St. Philip’s Church, Dunbar.

Pastime Consort went busking on Sunday, 30th July from 12-2pm.

We met friends and several ex-recorder players.  Contact us if you would like to play again, or try the BC. Recorder Society.   Thank you to the many interested fresh marketeers who threw money into our music case.

Seniors’ Cafe        Musicke for Recorders: Seniors’ Cafe May 2017

The Pastime Consort played a 40 minute recital to those attending St. Philip’s Seniors’ Cafe morning.

Beats on Broadway

Date: Friday, 13 March, 7.30 pm.  Venue: Mount Pleasant Neighbourhood House, 800 E. Broadway, Vancouver

Ann Maki and Anthony Morgan were joined by Alaric Posey, playing a Trio Sonata by Telemann.

A Choral Fiesta: Festival Chorus and Capilano University Singers

Date: 3 December 2016, 7.30 pm, 4 December, matinee  Venue: BlueShore Financial Centre for the Performing Arts, Capilano University.

Elizabeth Paterson and a group of other recorder-players joined Lars Kaario’s combined choirs for an evening of Spanish music.

Date: Tuesday  4 October 2016, 10-12 am.  Venue: St. Philip’s Anglican Church, 3737 W. 27th Ave. Vancouver

The full band and guest Anthony Morgan played a 30 minute recital to those attending St. Philip’s Seniors’ Cafe morning.  Song and dance inspired music from the 16th and 17th centuries.
