The Pastime Consort, like our instruments, has a wide repertoire stretching from the Middle Ages to modern times. However, the greater part of our repertoire lies in Renaissance and Baroque music.

Courtly music, church music, dance music and song are the sources of an enormous quantity of shorter and longer works suitable for many occasions.

We play music in 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 parts.  We play songs, madrigals, chorales, and choruses; pavanes and heys, gigs and gigues, sarabandes, sonatas and fantasies.

Our aim, always, is to choose carefully a set of pieces which suit the theme and flavour of the event.
